The Guild is always interested in preventing good Meccano going to waste. If you have any Meccano to re-cycle, please contact the Secretary or a member at one of our events.

Click  “Exhibitions” for a calendar of our events. Or “Event Details” for information about individual ones.

The Methodist Church Hall, now called the Cultural Centre, is on Goulding Avenue, just off Turpin Green Lane (B5254), near the centre of Leyland.

From the M6 motorway leave at Junction 28 and head west along B5256 until two ‘mini’ roundabouts are encountered and then turn right into Turpin Green Lane.

From the M65 motorway, turn south onto the M6 (Junction 29) and then leave M6 going west at Junction 28 and proceed as above.

From the M61 going north, leave at junction 8 going west along the A674. At the A6 roundabout, there are two routes. Either, turn left towards Chorley and then turn right onto the B5252 (just after the Golf Club). Go north along the A49 and then left along the B5256 to  get to the mini roundabouts.

Alternatively, turn right onto the A6 going North, then left along the B5248. Swing right just after crossing the M6 to get to the mini roundabouts. (Going into Buckshaw Village is not recommend, ignore the sign for Leyland near the Seaview Hotel).

Parking is available at the Hall, including some spaces at the back.

We are returning to the old venue for the next Guild Meeting.
